Example - VMWare - Using ISO image

If you cannot transfer a file to a Windows server using any of the standard methods (Mapping a network drive, using WinSCP etc) then you can use this method...

1. Create an ISO image containing the files you want to make available.

2. Start VMWare vSphere Client 

3. Connect to VMWare Vcenter and find your target server.

4. Click the Connect/Disconnect CD Drive icon (the CD with a spanner)...

5. Select your ISO file.

6. Your files will now be visible on the CD drive of your target server
